Perched on the edge of Swindlers Valley and just a short 15-minute drive from Mount Hotham airport, discover the jewel in the crown of Australia’s highest alpine resort.
With humble reference to nearby Mount Blowhard, the Lodge was designed by award winning architect Rob McIntyre, and completed in 1999. Regarded as one of Australia’s premier alpine destinations, the property changed hands in 2017 and underwent an extensive interior renovation befitting of its reputation, bringing it into the 21st Century.
Spread over 10 levels, Blowhard Lodge offers uninterrupted panoramic views of Hotham’s
ski slopes and the high country beyond, allowing you to luxuriate and entertain up to 12 guests in the Lodge’s aesthetically pleasing and uniquely intimate environs.
During the winter months, full ski-in and ski-out access brings Hotham’s alpine playground to your doorstep and the village centre is just a two-minute walk away. Whether you choose to revitalise your weary muscles in the private spa and sauna or mix a drink in the sky bar atop the tenth floor – at Blowhard Lodge the choice is yours.

A great space on level 8 that is connected to levels 9 and 10 giving a great sense of community as friends and family are split between levels.

Ski in & Ski out
Its actually on piste! Walk out from level 1, walk down 4 steps and your putting on your ski’s.
When your done skiing jump off the Quattro chair, ski down the Basin and your home! Great if you forgot your gloves!
Awesome if you love to be picky on your ski conditions.
Sky Bar
Sit back, sip and enjoy our fully stocked bar at level 10. With great views of the mountain and the village.
Socialise in this cozy space with friends, mix your evening cocktails before and after dinner and look up the hill at the party spots and make a decision to stay home or head on out.
Sauna and Spa
The Spa, perched on level 3 overhanging the mountain, with a slide open massive window that allows you to enjoy the cool of the mountain air whilst immersed in the warm energetic bath.
Built for 2 or 4 your choice to lock the door and enjoy.
Cinema
Wow, adults and kids alike LOVE this room. One big, built in lounge that makes watching a movie something amazing after a day on the slopes.
Great lighting, a large CD collection incase you don’t want to connect your iPhone and download the latest movies.
